Hello! I am Jessica - an illustrator living and working in the beautiful city of Frankfurt am Main, in south-west Germany.

Alongside my own practice, I work in partnership with clients to create illustrations that bring their values, vision and brand to life. I believe that illustration has unique and tremendous power in conveying emotion, stimulating the imagination and creating deep resonance with an audience. The most rewarding part of my job is hearing clients describe how they feel when they first see their “story” drawn on paper. It’s magic!

I draw inspiration from so many things: the weather; film; a busy market; the intermingling of nature and people in the city; my beautiful Labrador Merry; mid-century illustration; Shirley Hughes; quilts; art history; and my work with children.

Alongside my creative practice, I hold an Associate Level Diploma in People Management and currently volunteer for Pregnant Then Screwed - a non-profit working to end the motherhood penalty in the UK.
